MEET the DESIGNER - ARK

Introducing Amy & Janethe beautiful minds behind Ark!

Ark Colour Design are a British power house creating beautiful, quirky concepts for the most amazing quality leather accessories!

All of their products are made by a small family run manufacturer in Scotland. The leather is processed in their
on site tannery and then cut and foil embossed to our designs. Because every piece is hand finished with embossing, each one is unique to the next.

Amazingly British leather goods that will funk up your life, with colourful patterns and foil embossed details.

What were some of your biggest challenges in starting your business?

Premises! Cambridge is a very expensive city to live in and finding a studio that we could afford was a huge challenge. Managing the design, manufacture and packing our orders in a small space is now luckily a thing of the past.

How do you get the word out to get more fans?

Networking with other businesses and organisations has always been important. We have learnt a lot from our years of buying and made great contacts!

Can you name any celebrity followers?

Noel Fielding wore one of our badges on The Christmas Day Bake Off which was fun.
