Easter Egg hunts around the UK.


While we are in the process of planning our own Easter egg hunt / birthday party there are also lots of amazing secret bunny parties happening around the country.

The National Trust for example organises more than 300 hunts all over the country, these are run by Cadbury but you can also attend less sugary centric events like the

Below are recommended although certainly not exhaustive list:

NORTHERN IRELAND

The Mac

Easter egg hunt at the mac in Belfast to make your little ones Easter special

This free Easter egg hunt happens in The Mac itself and its surrounding buildings. Just pick up an activity sheet from the reception and and start hunting for Easter treats.

Castle Espie

Castle Espie Easter egg and duck hunt id perfect for all Little Citizens

Castle Espie have their own spin on the classic Easter egg hunt by changing chocolate to ducks! Much healthier for the kids. Collect all the cheeky birds and you might get a chocolate treat!

LONDON

London Bridge Easter Egg Trail

London Bridge easter egg hunt with loads of unusual characters

This is a free family egg hunt around London Bridge, to get a spot you have to register in advance. The meeting point is at Hay’s Galleria from there the clues, games, funny characters and plenty of chocolate adventure begins.

BERWICKSHIRE

Paxton House Easter Trail

Paxton house Easter hunt kids will love this exciting game


There’s an Easter-themed trail running throughout the Easter

break at Paxton House. It’s a beautiful spot for a bracing spring walk and clue hunt around the grounds. Watch out for ‘Golden Egg Sundays’ with extra prizes on offer if you find one on your stroll.

BRISTOL

Blaise Castle Egg Hunt

Easter egg treats at Bristol museums
Take a wander around the museum and gardens to complete the Easter trail and receive a chocolate prize at this free (or pay what you feel) event. There’s plenty of space to run around and a huge public playground for post-hunt exertions.

CORNWALL

Easter at Eden

Easter fun for all ages at Cornwall
Expect an action-packed Easter at the Eden Project near St Austell. There’s a team-based Egg Scramble, inflatable slides with egg-themed games and a Golden Egg Hunt around the grounds.

Peter Rabbit Egg Hunt

Peter rabbit egg hunt and the wonderful world of Beatrix Potter
Head to the World of Beatrix Potter over Easter weekend and children’s entry includes a mini treasure hunt in the Peter Rabbit garden with a chocolate egg and sticker for every child.

Hever Castle Bunny Hunt

Lindt bunny chocolate Easter for children at Hever Castle

Rufford Abbey Easter Hunt

Easter egg hunting at Ruffed Abbey
Buy a trail leaflet for just £1 and get hunting for giant eggs hidden around the grounds and gardens at this stunning mansion house and abbey ruin. The 150 acres of grounds means plenty of space to run off any chocolate excesses.
