The Guardian names Little Citizens Boutique Startup of the year 2014
posted on April 21 2015
Yes! We love the hyperbole of the title. Startup of the year? Little old us?
No but seriously The Guardian chose to feature our MUMBA programme which we're incredibly proud of. While it's quite new we can't wait to roll it out further and would love your help!! So here goes:
MUMBA is short for MUM-Bassador, the way it works is: mum's help us spread the word by handing out flyers and promoting LCB online. When we gain a customer through this MUMBA, she gets 10% commission paid. Simply for helping us build a wider community. There is something especially exciting that instead of advertising or marketing, our budget is going to sustain mummies, like you or me, around the world.
If you want to celebrate the benefits of play, while making money on your own terms and in your own time, please write firstname.lastname@example.org and put MUMBA application in your subject header. We'll send you our vision statement, it explains why play is so important and gives you ideas on how to introduce Little Citizens to your neighbourhood.
